HE SURVIVED EBOLA DEADLY VIRUS - 7YEAR OLD

Ebola virus may be a threat around the world but there are people who have survived the attack of this deadly disease.

One of the survivors is a seven year old boy, Vandy Jawad, who is a reminder of hope and survival in this health challenging situation caused by Ebola.

He was treated for more one month in Sierra Leone and had displayed some serious symptoms of the disease.

According to nurses, “That small boy was very, very sick. We did not think he would survive as so many haven’t,” said Sister Nancy Yoko, the nurse in charge of the Ebola Treatment Centre in Kenema.

“Little Vandy provided laughter at the most unlikely moments inside that ward, I’m so happy for his recovery, “ a British volunteer nurse who treated him inside the centre told UNICEF.

“Isata Konneh (35) was another patient who I met leaving the ward. She had tears in her eyes and proudly displayed her certificate to the nurses “I am so happy for this day, I thank God that he has helped me survive” she says.

Another survivor Fatmata Sesay said, “I am the happiest person in the world right now.”

“I knew I was very sick as I was bleeding through my nose and vomiting blood clots, but I am lucky, I am better now and so is Tata. It is not easy to recover from this terrible disease,” says Fatmata.

“I thank Allah and the nurses who have cared for me, we are alive.”

I am a Nigerian and I am Not a Terrorist

As the current crisis in Nigeria continues to escalate I kept wondering where we are heading to. This is NOT the Nigeria I use to know. Suicide Bombing and mass killing of innocent people use to be what we watch only on foreign movies. As a Nigerian, i can assure you that terrorism is not in our blood. Nevertheless my write up on the current crisis, terrorism, bombing, kidnapping and blood shedding looming my beloved country today is simply to make a special shout out, to recognise, encourage and in a special way say a Big ''Thank You'' to the Nigerian army especially our gallant soldiers in the very war front because hardly do we remember to appreciate their contributions and sacrifices.
As the cases of terrorism, suicide bombing  and above all the kidnap of the Chibok school girls are all on the lips of the world now, 'Yes' the world. Everybody  is lending a voice for the release of the girls. And with the current and most popular hash tag that stirred the whole world #BringBackOurGirls. Yes. They are all good but guess what? Somebody still have to do the search and rescue. Someone has to make a physical effort which is to have a face off with the terrorists. And that still take us back to our gallant soldiers and all the forces.
It is not that these men doesn't like comfort, it is not that they can't get any other job, trust me when I say it is not that they don't want to be with their family everyday, with their wife and children. Sitting, watching television and having a nice evening with their families. No!!... But these men, who are being driven by passion and love for their beloved country, driven by the hunger for peace, have made the ultimate choice and sacrifice to serve and protect their beloved country with their own lives. Days, weeks, months and sometimes years they are faraway from home, from the love at home, away from the warm embrace of their loved ones just to make U and I, the civilians sleep with both eyes closed.
And now my concern and questions are
''How are we encouraging these gallant and  honorable men to discharge their duties and do more?
To the Government, the Army Chiefs and Generals and the Army high Rank Officers and all in charge... How are we working together?
I am not here to judge or criticize anybody but to encourage, plead and beckon on all of Us to do the right thing.
Are the funds meant for the Army, the ministry of defense used properly?
Are the armory well equipped and ammunitions well sourced?
Are the soldiers and their  welfare well taken care of? How about a sound medical outfit and assistance? How are the fallen Heroes shown some last respect? How are the families of those that lost their lives in the line of duty taken care of? These and many more are the questions I keep asking. Like I said ''Am not here to criticise but to encourage all that is concern and in charge to do the right thing. To the Government, please make the funds available and don't politicise the situation. To the Army officers in charge, our Army Generals and all commanding officers please use the funds judiciously. This is not the time to enrich pockets at the detriment of our beloved country. Ensure that the men you are sending out to the war front are well equipped, well motivated. Remember they have families too who are expectant of their return. If this war is won... You all have a share in the glory!
And to those sabotaging the whole efforts just remember ''there is God oooo''! Because the cases of our gallant soldiers being ambushed and slaughtered is so disheartening or bullet proof vests and helmets being easily perforated or pierced by bullets is not encouraging.

So, to the Government of Nigeria, the Ministry of Defense, the Army Chiefs and Generals Thank You for the efforts being put in to arrest the crisis but You still need to do more
And in a Special way... To all the gallant men and women out their in the war front, in the forests, Thank You for your sacrificial efforts, for the courageous risks, for the sleepless nights and for all that you contribute and do just to tackle and combat terrorism in our country.
Terrorism is Not and can NEVER be our identity.
The rest of the world should take note
We are Nigerians.
We are good people
We are Peace loving people
And we are NOT Terrorists.
To the families of those kidnapped girls ... Please be strong. Our girls will be back. We know your pains. And if we join hands, soon terrorism shall be uprooted from this country.
God Bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria
God Bless our President and all Govt officials
God bless the military and all the forces in Nigeria, Police, Navy, Air force, etc.
God Bless the citizens of Nigeria
I am a Nigerian and I am NOT a Terrorist.

How To Pop A Pimple The Right Way

Pimples can be so much an embarrassment that you are often tempted to pop them as soon as they begin to form.
That is a mistake!
The best thing you could do for yourself is to let your body heal the pimple on its own without you obstructing by popping.
It is however understandable that for social reasons you might want to break it, rather than carrying a scary face no one wants to see.
So if you must pop it, do it safely and effectively – when done properly, popping a pimple can be beneficial to the healing process.
However, only pop pimples those are ready to be popped, ripe all the way at the surface and white/yellow.
Again, it is best done after shower is best, when the skin is supple though popping can be successfully performed with dry skin as well.
Disinfect a needle with rubbing alcohol. A basic sharp sewing needle is a good choice because sewing needles are strong and sharp.
Gently prick the pimple's surface.
Take two tissues and wrap each of your index fingers with them.
Squeeze from the sides, confidently but gently, using a down-and-in motion. Don't force it. If the pimple is ready it will pop. If it doesn't, leave it be. Stop if clear fluid or blood starts to come out.
Walk away from the mirror! Continuing to work at a lesion that is not ready to be popped will most definitely introduce unnecessary irritation and can also increase the chance of scarring.
It is very important to leave deep, painful lesions (cysts and nodules) untouched. Do not attempt to pop them. Instead, a effective option for these types of lesions is to see a dermatologist who can administer a cortisone injection, which will bring down swelling and potentially reduce or eliminate scarring. Often dermatologists will accept a quick "emergency" appointment for such matters.

10 Things You Should Know About Having Sex in Water

The cool thing about sex in the water, pool, tub or shower is getting clean while having fun getting dirty at the same time. But, though sex is usually linked with wetness, having sex in water isn’t just about jumping into the pool, or a river, and getting kinky.
Here are some things you must know as you try to bring your water-sex fantasy to life
1. Condoms don’t play well with water. Chemicals and hot water are said to affect a condom’s durability, lowering protection. It could also slip off. So it’s wise to have some backup condoms.
2. Use a lubricant that is not water soluble to make penetration a lot more comfortable for both of you. Sex in water does not create extra lubrication, because water actually washes away the natural lubrication from a woman’s body which can cause extremely painful friction – extremely.
3. Shallow end of the pool is the best for safety reasons. But whether in the pool or under the shower, doggy-style is usually the best.
4. A good alternative is oral sex. Have your girl sit on the deck of the pool or on the stairs while you stand in the water, or vice versa.
5. For pools, there is the problem of all that potentially dangerous chlorinated water rushing in and out of the lady’s genitalia.
6. In tub/shower sex, you get the pleasure of being wet, without the chance of too much water entering private areas. The missionary style is the best option.
7. Having something to hold onto, like a bar, installed in the shower is good when you need support for from-behind action.
8. In open waters like the beach, you have to be very careful as salt water isn’t exactly a vagina’s best friend sand may get lodged… in not-so-good places. Instead, start things off in the water, but then head to dry land – or manage a hand job.
9. You must know also that having sex under water surface is dangerous. It is simply not a good idea – unless of course you have gills.
10. Again, since the pool pose isn't discreet it is recommended for night times and private locations. You wouldn’t want to see a video of you uploaded on YouTube.
